For RRB NTPC (CEN 06/2025) you do not upload a photo file. The RRB FAQ says the application captures a live photo with your webcam or your phone's front camera, and uploading a pre-existing photo is not permitted.

For the live capture, the FAQ asks you to wear non-white clothing, preferably dark, so you stand out from the background; keep the camera at eye level; look straight ahead with a neutral expression; keep your whole face inside the frame on screen; and not wear a cap, mask, glasses or spectacles. You can preview and retake the photo until you submit.

The 240 x 320 pixel output of this tool is not something CEN 06/2025 asks for. It is only useful if another RRB notice asks you to upload a photo. Your appearance throughout the recruitment process must match the photo captured with your application.

Do I need to upload a photo for RRB NTPC?
