Austria's Interior Ministry asks for passport photos 35 mm wide and 45 mm high. The head (chin to top of head) should fill about two thirds of the picture and must not be more than 36 mm; tall hairstyles may extend past the top edge. The distance between the centres of the eyes must be at least 8 mm, ideally 10 mm.
